Motorcycle Accidents

Provo Motorcycle Accident Attorneys

Motorcycle accident victims often face an uphill battle when seeking to recover fair compensation for their injuries. Unfortunately, motorcycle riders are often blamed for accidents they didn’t cause. Without an attorney’s help, you may not receive the compensation you deserve.

At the law firm of Robinson, Seiler & Anderson, LC, our attorneys represent motorcycle accident victims in the Provo-Orem metropolitan area and throughout the Utah Valley. We offer a free initial consultation to discuss your personal injury case.

Accidents involving motorcycles usually happen because the driver of the other vehicle:

  • Made a left-hand turn in front of the motorcycle
  • Swerved into lane in which the motorcyclist was riding

In the aftermath of a car-motorcycle collision, the other driver may seem apologetic and sorry for the injuries you have suffered. However, when talking to police or his or her insurance company, the other driver may attempt to shift blame for the accident to you. For example, he or she could say that you were speeding. Police officers responding to the accident scene may have biases of their own and accept the version of the accident told by the other driver.

In Utah, your recovery from a motor vehicle accident can be reduced by any percentage of blame that is assigned to you. To protect your right for full compensation, it’s important to collect and preserve evidence of liability such as skid marks, vehicle damage and statements from witnesses.

Robinson, Seiler & Anderson takes personal injury cases on a contingency basis. We charge a fee only if you make a recovery for your losses.
